lucretia might not have been one of the dedicated scientists of the group, exactly, but it's an interesting subject. the 'theoretical' part is definitely what made her most interested in it, so she's checking it out, because if they're going to be stuck here-- well. she should see what these classes are like, at least.

I'd hoped it might be a bit more related to the planar system, but I suspect this place might not have one.

Either they don't, or they aren't aware of them. I think it would be difficult to... well, for example, to know about the Plane of Magic and fully believe that magic does not exist.

I have to question just how effective it will be, all things considered.
