Yes. We didn't-- at the time, we had no idea of just what was going to happen. We knew it would be dangerous, but the extent of it, the actual capabilities of what we put into the world... what we did was a mistake, no matter our intentions at the time. In trying to save our world, we endangered it more than we ever anticipated.
[she watches lucretia for a second, like she's trying to figure that out, run it through, a few times.]

...I told you I came from what was more or less the end of our world, before. That threat-- it's the thing that we created the relics to try to prevent, but that wasn't the only plan that we ever had. Our world can still be saved, and once it's safe then we can atone for what we did.
