It's self-sufficient, yes, unless it's disrupted-- but if it is, the consequences are usually... well, rough. Interfering with them can eliminate life on the Material Plane.

It doesn't surprise me there are other places like that, but they're just different enough.
Enough so that I think yours must not be a part of our reality. Either way, it's--- good to know that ours isn't the only one where these things are possible.
I knew that other worlds were out there, but I didn't think about the possibility of meeting people who could travel to them, too. Even back home it's only a few specific people who can go to that other world.
I haven't met everybody here, but maybe there are others, too.

Our group's been separated before. Even if time isn't slowed down or stopped for whatever reason, the others will take care of each other until we can get back. But I don't mind that he's here.

I hope none of us have to miss much. I'm pretty sure everybody's in a situation where they couldn't exactly afford to leave right now. [a pause...] But yeah. I can't say I'm not glad about that too.
