Yeah. It's all lead by example at this point, so I can't even say that situation couldn't possible happen.
[...sakyou...]
It's a good idea, but convincing everybody else might be harder. There's always so much going on and the people that come back aren't always in the greatest shape anyway. [like. mentally.]
There's a fine line between respecting what they've been through and handling what we need to have a reference for. We're just going to have to find the best way to walk it.
[and it's said sincerely, like. thank you for taking on that mantle. woof.]
That's what I'm thinking though. Either pictures or even trying to contact any of us while they're gone. Anything that can be recorded as it's happening.
No, I'm thinking more along the lines that-- they didn't necessarily want to kill someone helpless, or who was less capable, but they didn't want too much of a risk to themselves. The stronger their opponent is, the more likely they'll be hurt in ways they can't hide, after all.
Oh. [oh...no okay that does, in fact, make more sense.] ...when you put it that way, the options are more limited. They probably weren't expecting Sieghart to be able to fight as long as he did, but...the way it ended was pretty messy.
[dude was literally almost split in half. who. how. what the fuck.]
I compared it with the chainsaw just to be sure. The wound itself wasn't jagged or anything so it's too hard to say if it was something else before it was Sieghart's sword. But it wouldn't surprise me if it was something else before that.
[...but yeah. he frowns pretty heavily there.]
We're getting to the point where we've all been here long enough that whoever's next is going to hurt somebody pretty bad. There's no getting around that.
What, that part of the show is seeing how far we can go before people break from their sadness? [it's kind of growled because he's getting pissed about it, but you know.]
...those papers did talk about..."lifelong friendships, heated competition, rivals to lovers, lies and deceit, steaminess and hot-blooded intensity." It could be part of the point.

It was my suggestion, but...I don't know if I could be the one to take the pictures myself.
[like. he has lived through a lot, but even he has limits such as keeping morbid injury photos on his phone.]

[that's, like, immediate.]
Let others handle that one, Taichi.

Okay. If someone else can, that really should be something we do. We have cameras for a reason, so we should document everything we come across.
[come to think of it...] It does make me wonder if our phones work when people go to those other places though.

I'll look into it. It's going to depend on who's involved, but we'll see what we can do.
It might be worth spreading the idea of trying to photograph those places, too, to see if there's anything anyone can get from it.

[...] I only got to talk to you, Sagihara, Maya and Rita. How'd the rest of them take it yesterday when we found out?

[she shakes her head, slightly, exhales a slow breath.]
The vibes were... pretty bad.

[fuck. terrible choices, terrible timing.]

...it makes you wonder if his killer knew how bad it'd shake up the rest of the dorm.

With that logic, that just makes Sieghart another number. [a quota to be met, if you will.]

[it just-- feels more likely that he was taken down before being impaled by that giantass sword.]
With those limited options, though, if the trend continues, then-- to be honest with you, I don't like the possibilities.
[their sakyou. to a lesser extent their claude?]

I really do keep coming back around to wondering if that isn't part of the point.
