I don't know. I haven't spoken to either of them, but Denji is in their dorm.

Not immediately, but I picked up on similarities fairly quickly. Things they'd mentioned, or that I'd seen.

That's both a good and a bad thing. So what did you have to do when you were there? How did things start?

[if he's not asking she's just moving on, thank you. she's typing one handed so this is all kind of slow but:]

We were in some sort of study, at first, with several items lying around. We took some of them with us, but when I looked at something on one of the desks, that's where I got this.

[she sets the phone down to hold up her left hand. the eye shaped injury is kind of starting to bleed through the bandages a little but it's fine.]

But it wasn't an injury then, it was just a red eye.

Then Denji woke up a mimic disguised as a cabinet.

...[oh. well that's bad. there's another flicker of alarm and concern, but he doesn't outwardly seem perturbed.]

All of that sounds pretty useful. [...he takes a breath and continues.] Where did you move on to then?

There was a room with odd containers, that had

[all of this is... hard for her to type, but there's an odd sort of feeling to the grief that comes with it. there's definitely something else troubling lucretia about this that she doesn't clarify.]

Wait, wait...[he says it more to try and help her calm down a little.]

...that must have been hard, especially if they were still just recognizable to be the people you knew. Were they all like that? [begging to be killed.] How did you...?

Poisoned her, then just- broke her neck. She was crying the entire time she attacked me.

[...her fingers tremble, briefly, before she continues.]

...no idea at all? What did she look like? Or, I guess it's hard when she was a monster but...

All of them were distorted, they didn't really look... like what they should have. But she was blonde. An elf, I think.

[the unsettled vibes just intensify.]

...this place loves to pull people from our own memories. When...we were on our trip, I forgot everybody, too. Agumon, Yamato, my sister...even my parents. Maybe it's someone you know, but the memory hasn't come back yet.

I feel like I knew her at the time.

[the memory problems only kicked in later, evidently.]

...what happened then?

We escaped that room, but the door was blocked by what I thought was some kind of illusory creature. I had Denji test to be sure, and his weapon went right through it. Nothing happened when he passed through it, either.

The rest of us, when we tried-- we were afflicted with something, it exacerbated our emotions, and I was just... angry, at everything. I felt like I just wanted to break anything I could.

I mean Denji went on a rampage earlier, are we sure it didn't affect him, too? That sounds like what happened to us, too, the higher we climbed our platforms. Ichiro was angry, Beau I think was fear, Kainé might've been sadness and I was jealous.

No, it took effect very immediately, and he didn't rampage at all in

Uh...he threw Ichiro, threw Mabel, kicked Hope, kicked Futaba and I think tried going after a few others before Kainé knocked him out. Ichiro and Mabel are fine, Hope's injuries were aggravated again and he broke some of Futaba's ribs.

He didn't act like that at all while we were in there, what happened to him?

We're not sure. One minute he was fine, the next he was picking up Ichiro and throwing him away like a javelin. He was totally fine when you were together?
