-well, no. That might be needed more later-- we're about out of items for it.

[and she is functional, just. in some level of pain a lot of the time. also her voice is still bad yet here she is not typing.

We might get some new ones soon. So that's a thought. [but he understands, it's primarily why he hasn't healed himself either.]

Try to rest when you can though. I've already gotten on Maya's case about it, too.

It was much smaller, the last time I did something like this, so I just put myself in the middle, but it feels a little different in this sort of group.

For the bureau I'm guessing? [hmmmm...] Maybe you should just be around the people you would want to still be around when all of this is over.

Taichi, I think you're underestimating how many people that's going to be.

[there's a touch of laughter in her tone when she says it, but-- well, it's true.]

Probably. [haha. he frowns a little thoughtfully, looking at the canvas...] Maybe above everybody? That way you're still surrounded by all of us, but not at the same time. I dunno, placement's harder than I thought.

...but it's good to know that there are people here you care about that much.

I considered just organizing by dorm, but there are cases where I think it's better to put people elsewhere.

Maybe not. But you've seen some of the people here. They aren't the easiest to get to know.

...you ever think that maybe what we're supposed to be doing is working together instead of competing in a dorm war in the first place?

... sometimes, yes. I only really cared about trying to find who had killed when we thought we might learn something from that, but after the weekend, I-- don't think I care much about that, either.

[she's been looking respectfully away from whoever the fuck is in fall anyway.]

Besides, the competition still feels like a bit of a flimsy setup to me.

Same here. Maybe that's just another thing we should be asking Sieghart about. The daycare might know what's going on with the dorm war setting and tell us if we have to rethink our strategy there, too.

Hopefully, they'll know-- anything we don't.

I've-- well, I've missed having him around, these last couple of weeks.

Yeah...I think I can understand that. You guys got along pretty well, didn't you?

To be honest with you, I'd sort of written him off a little at first. We still got along, but we weren't particularly close, and I wasn't sure how much he could be trusted to do. But-- that did change, later. He promised he'd work with me, and help look after the others.

[there's maybe something a little more bittersweet to the smile now.]

... we'd just started getting close, when he was killed. The rule about sharing regrets-- we chose each other for that.

...that kind of thing would make people grow a little closer, I think. Sieghart's always tried to pretend he won't take responsibility but he's also bad are actually leaving stuff alone.

I'm glad you got to have some time with him before then.

...so am I. It's a relief to have a way to see him again, too, if just for a few minutes.

[just gotta make the most of it. the questions are the priority, but just being there is something.]

The point of taking the messages is to save time, but-- I still can't take much of it for myself. It'll only last a few minutes, so we're going to have to go over things fairly quickly. That's the priority.
