They're always good...I like the ones you can always see anyway. [let lucretia have pictures!! but he's busy fiddling around with the settings. they're going to have a nice red background even despite the sheer amount of blue.]
Red it is. [a pause.] I'm not sure how serious he was, but Chad said his was brown.
[it's an idle comment, mostly as a way to share with her just what kind of bullshit he does to chad. poor chad. but with the background and settings selected he gestures to the booth.] Come on.
[he asked him a bunch of other stuff too stop. but into the booth! he will let lucretia follow him, and he gestures to the screen ahead.]
See the timer button? You hit it, and then you have a few seconds to pose for your pictures. When the time's out, then you can edit them with the stickers and stuff you've probably seen around.
[so, he will hit the button to start the camera. say cheese!]
I see. Similar to the phone camera, but with a longer timer...
[-oh shit he started the camera. there's probably one of her just looking at it because she was observing, but then she manages a slight, still somewhat reserved smile, like this is an official portrait of some kind.]
[it gets him to laugh a little because whoops, should've warned her better! but it's okay. the camera takes a good amount of photos which gives them time to change poses, smile, and maybe have a few good ones.
once it's done though he will lead her out of the booth to show her all of the options on screen.]
Check it out. Then you can put whatever you want on it. [he will start by putting some star drawings above his own head.] Like that.
[she's definitely the type where if you don't get her to laugh during this, the portrait smile is what you get-- she cracks a little more of a grin at some of the posing he does though, for sure.
and once they check out the options, she spends some time going through the options herself, curious.]
I really should have looked at these before, I think.
[this is pretty baller, actually. she puts a couple little moons on her side.]
Art's still a big thing on Earth, too. There's all kinds of galleries and stuff where people put drawings and paintings and sculptures. Some cameras are faster than others, too. We have digital ones and cameras in our phones, but some cameras still use film and you have to develop it.

[asking chad's favorite color i am crying. taichi you're doing your best to learn about him.
but she'll come along, keeping a close eye on what he's doing. she's going to want to take more of these later, with others.]
Go ahead, then, let's see what this thing can do.

[there are also some purple flowers...just because Spring.]

They are. I doubt they would put portraiture out completely, but they're a much faster alternative. More-- spontaneous, I suppose.
[cameras really aren't bad, but they're not going to make her put art aside, either.]

Depends on what you want, I think. [shrug!]
