I'm sure it still would have been him, based on the evidence, but there might have been more that we could have done. There are only so many answers we'll get, I think.

Yeah. Even if we tried to ask Caiman now, we wouldn't get an answer. It's not like I could even try to ask anything else in that dorm anyway.

...there's also the part where even if Rupert was one of our culprits last week, there's still another one out there. Are we always going to have two that go unnoticed?

None of it matched up today, with those of us who had an extra voucher. It's the 'good behavior' part that might be throwing a spanner into our math here, but there has to be something to this. There's a way to find out if we can just-- solidify it.

What do you think the likelihood is that "good behavior" also involves getting away with murder?

Considering one of the people with an unexplained extra was who I voted for? Fairly good, actually. Claude's may be explained by his excursion, if those happen to earn rewards, but Sieghart couldn't confirm it now and Catra and Sagihara didn't speak up.

Did any of the others you talked to vote for her? I know you guys were whispering names and everything.

No, they didn't. None of them matched up at all, actually-- they were all different votes.

I hate math. [he sighs loudly.] I can try to ask Catra what her voucher total was after she returned with the others. Or we can just as Sagihara. I doubt he'd have a reason to hide it from us.

I'm going to consult with him when I can. He helped me, using his vouchers-- I doubt he would bother to hide the answer. But I don't think I should try asking Catra.

I'll see if I can. I want to talk to her later anyway after what happened today with both Beau and Mabel.

Good luck, then. At some point, someone's going to have to convince her to participate a little more readily.

If I can't get her to, I'll see if Adora can. She seems to listen to her pretty well.

If this keeps happening we can't let anybody slack off. And this is maybe a bad suggestion but I'm wondering if we should take pictures of people after they come back from those places on Thursdays. Just to have an account of what injuries they really have.

If we do, then others could use it as an excuse-- if we let Catra refuse, then why can't they stop participating?

[and she might not go along with it even then, which would just cause a bigger mess.]

I think that's a good idea, though. As far as I'm aware Sagihara never let us get a good look at him beforehand, and while I'm sure he was innocent... well. We really should have, and photo evidence makes it harder to just explain it away.

Yeah. It's all lead by example at this point, so I can't even say that situation couldn't possible happen.

It's a good idea, but convincing everybody else might be harder. There's always so much going on and the people that come back aren't always in the greatest shape anyway. [like. mentally.]

There's a fine line between respecting what they've been through and handling what we need to have a reference for. We're just going to have to find the best way to walk it.

Okay. If someone else can, that really should be something we do. We have cameras for a reason, so we should document everything we come across.

[come to think of it...] It does make me wonder if our phones work when people go to those other places though.

I'll look into it. It's going to depend on who's involved, but we'll see what we can do.

It might be worth spreading the idea of trying to photograph those places, too, to see if there's anything anyone can get from it.
