...I'm going to go visit Sieghart, this week. According to Hugo, it's possible for me to deliver written messages, so-- if you'd let Fall know, I'm planning to go on Wednesday. If they have anything they want to pass on to the others, have them write those messages down and I'll take them with me.

It was you. [okay.] That's...awesome. We were trying to figure out who won Chad's item, so I feel better knowing it went to someone who would use it well.

Are there limits on how much we can say or anything? I can ask the others at Fall, maybe just write it on one sheet of paper or something.

As far as I know? No. I can't promise there won't turn out to be any, but... it should be all right to just write them.

I know Beau was worried, but I told her that it was likely that whoever won would know Molly would be wanted on this side. [he blinks in surprise though.] I didn't know Claude moved. ...that's probably good for Annie though. Are you both going to see Sieghart, or just you?

That was the point. We put that in even before the deaths, to try to help balance things out a bit, but...

[but then two summers, and another summer bailed, rip to that dorm. good lord.]

If I could take someone else with me, I would, but Hugo says it's just one. Next week it'll be up to Claude-- it doesn't have to be one of us. I'd planned to give it to Beauregard or Caleb this week if they didn't get him back, and just... have them get the information in my stead.

[then one of them could at least see him. but! he's here so it's fine!]

Yeah. It's...hard to balance when so many of us are committed to where we are now. But Mabel moved in with us and Claude moved in to summer and Molly's back in spring. So we'll see how things shape up next week.

[he nods though.] Molly's here and he can tell us a little, maybe, but we should ask Sieghart what's going on in the daycare and how we can help them out. The marquee's obviously them and the bear, so it makes me wonder if they can see what's going on.

I won't be surprised if either he joins them, or they move.

[after caleb went to winter, she doesn't expect them to stay separated.]

I do intend to ask about that, though. Sagihara mentioned one of the heads said we should look into the sleepers and the Dean's List, too, so that's on my list.

Beau won't leave Winter, so Molly will probably move in with them.

...I want confirmation on those, too. I can figure out one sleeper but not the other and it's gonna drive me crazy. As far as I figure maybe the Dean's List is some sort of protection thing? Like maybe those three people won't be targeted this week. But that doesn't make sense either.

We should also ask how close they are to getting the keys they need.

Well, I won't leave Hugo, either, so I can understand that.

[and thus winter gets even bigger potentially, but it's fine, she wouldn't fault them for it.]

There'd be more to it than that, though, even if that's the case. Otherwise, why would only some be torn...? We could always see if there's a common thread among those, but it'll still be difficult.

I still sort of feel bad, but I talk to him pretty much every week anyway. Waiting for him to officially tell me to stop talking.

[he frowns at that...and he sighs.] Let's see what Sieghart says and we'll go from there. It's better than wasting our time with guesses and getting stuck on an idea that might not even be right.

If you reach that point, I'm sure I won't be far behind.

[a little smile, there. she also bothers him every week.]

But I think you're right. We don't have much that's new to work with, yet.

I think he probably doesn't really mind as much as he pretends to. [...] And I think he's probably just not sure what to do with the attention anyway. It's a good thing he's around people like us.

Maybe we'll have something new tomorrow or something. That's when those notes in the lockers have been showing up. But today...guess we can just enjoy the new buildings? [he shrugs.]

No, he knows what to do with the attention, and it's 'complain about it'. But I have the same feeling.

...I'm just hoping to find a way to improve things for him, through all this.

[she cares so goddamn much about trying to help his situation. but she doesn't know how much taichi knows, exactly, so-- she keeps it vague, more or less.]

This is a pretty big project. It wouldn't surprise me if it kept you busy for a while, at least.

I expect it to-- I'm not as fast as I would be, otherwise.

[a little nod to her right arm, which is in a sling made of fancier fabric now. all the burns definitely don't help either, but will that stop her, no.]

Did you ask Hugo for a price for healing further? [he says, when he hasn't bothered healing himself.]

-well, no. That might be needed more later-- we're about out of items for it.

[and she is functional, just. in some level of pain a lot of the time. also her voice is still bad yet here she is not typing.

that and the injuries she has bandaged are kind of bleeding through a little again, somehow, despite the previous heals.]

We might get some new ones soon. So that's a thought. [but he understands, it's primarily why he hasn't healed himself either.]

Try to rest when you can though. I've already gotten on Maya's case about it, too.
