Which makes it one that could happen again on any day. I'm going to try to convince Chad to spend a little more time around the rest of us, and perhaps that will help prevent whatever happened to him last Thursday from happening again. At least we might have some evidence of whatever the hell it was.

He pretty much said the same thing to me, and...I probably didn't help much. I've been trying, but it's hard to answer him sometimes. Especially when we still have so many unanswered questions.
But that would be better than nothing. All of us want answers, but even if he just says he's trying that should help convince people he's not trying to actually work against us. That seems to be the bigger problem.
I can't begrudge people their suspicion in this situation, I really can't. It's true that all of them truly could be in on... everything happening here, but neither is it lost on me that they weren't involved at all in the weekend's events.

I think he isn't the type to want to make friends in this situation. If you prefer to have a professional distance, having people you oversee get too familiar is, frankly, the nightmare scenario.
I think he only told me because I asked. But I got that impression, too. Which is totally stupid by the way. If we're going to be working together then the professionalism shouldn't matter as much.
